This low growing, prolific flowering annual produces
blooms in clusters of pompom like flowers in colors of blue, red, pink and
white. Flowers are borne on strong 6 to 8-inch stems. Plants are easy to grow
and will bloom throughout summer. Excellent as edging for beds and borders, in
rock gardens or in containers.
Choose a sunny area and sow seeds in well drained soil after all danger of
frost is past. Seeds can also be started indoors 6-8 weeks before the last
frost for an earlier start. Lightly cover seed and keep evenly moist.
